Hi, Folks, On another list today, someone shared a url for a site which has lots of Ohio histories. If you go here: http://www.picosearch.com/cgi-bin/ts.pl and simply enter "McCann" in the first box and click on "Search" you'll find 20 McCann incidences of the name. For example, among the first members of the M.E. Church of Pleasant Twp., Hardin Co., OH, which was organized in 1838-1839, were John McCann and his wife.
