Hi, I really be there is a family connection her. Mary Ann Hays was born in Peotone , Ill in 1845. She married James McCann from Wilton Center, close to Peotone. My grt- grandmother was Margaret McCann. Her Daughter Catherine McNamee was born in Wilton Center. James and Mary Ann had a son named William Henry b. 1/9/1879 he was also called Timothy. I have also found them in Wilton census in 1880. please let me know if we are connected. Family tradition has it that there were three brothers born in County Cork Ireland. They came to USA and one stayed on the East coast another proceeded onto Calif. and the third (James McCann) settled in the Chicago area i.e. Joliet.
