Hi Ann, Where in the world did you find that our James McCann came to America on that ship?? I have been looking for that for at least 2 years! I'll have to research the brothers because this is the first actual listing of them I've seen. WOW - WOW!!!! His first wife was Mary Ann Hayes is this a different Mary he married? Jerry: Do you relate to this family? This is my family, I have the records up until the farm was deeded to them, The other half was deeded to his brother. They no sooner had the farm, then they sold it, I have been looking for the family of James. My grandfather, John Charles McCann, born in Wisconsin was a brother to this James McCann. Will be anxious to hear from you, I didn't know which Mary, James had married, In fact after the 1870 census, we lost the older children. The census had James born in Mass, When the ship that they came over on stated a Jane, but we didn't have a Jane, So they made a mistake and it was James.
