    3. An, This is exciting !!!! Illinois marriage index has 3 McCann's marring Hays. John - Mary in Morgan co. 10/14/1872 Patrick - Margaret 11/16/1862 Then there is James McCann - Mary Ann Hase (could be spelt wrong) 2/14/1872 Will County # 00004785 Let Me know what you think. Where did you go to the farm ? was it in Wilton Center ? If so, I only live about 15 miles from there. Bernie ----- Original Message ----- From: amccann74 Sent: Sunday, July 28, 2002 5:42 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [McCANN] JAMES AND MARY MCCANN I know that there are others searching for James and Mary McCann, If this is the James and Mary that I'm searching for, they would have been married between Dec. 10 1866 and May 11 1867. Does anyone have a marriage record of these two? Would be interested in where they list they are from and who their parents were.. If anyone does have this info, please get in touch, so I can check it out with my records. Also, My Great Grand Mother was Margaret McCann. 3. Bernie: I think that's where I got into a mixup with some others, I was thinking of a Wilton, Wisconsin The farm that I am talking about is in Juneau County, Wisconsin, Between Mauston and Elroy, Wisconsin. The deed Lists James and Mary as being Husband and wife in 1867. Did someone say this was not his first marriage? So many things are alike Are you related to Jerry McCann? I guess I would have to know the Maiden name of the mother of James to know for sure if this is the one we're searching, Also I think his father to be Peter McCann, We might hit on something yet, Let's keep trying, Some of the dates etc are incorrect, In fact one women had one of her ancestors listed as colored.
