Is there anyone who has access to the 1870/80 Census Index for Texas, that could see if there is a listing for Robert McBee in Llano County, Texas, for those years. I have gotten some old deeds that place him in Llano County TX in 1876; He and his Brother John G McBee sold their interest in land in Van Zandt and Kaufman Counties to a James W Henson who lived in Kaufman Co. I believe he was in Van Zandt Co, TX in 1868 where he married Mahala Jay, They are not on either 1870/80 Census of Van Zandt or Kaufman County. I want to find him and his family for those years and have found my first clue of where he might have been; In that Deed he is listed as being in Llano County, TX in 1876.
