Mrs. McCurley was born December 2, 1880 in Jacksboro, Texas, and lived in Porterville 23 years before moving to Lindsay when she became ill to make her home with her daughter at 165 South Ashland. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Garvin and Delbert McCurley, both in Oklahoma; three daughters, Ruth Galloway in Missouri, Lula Stanphill in Portervillle and Arlie Rickard in Lindsay; three brothers, Jack McBee of Fowler, Roy McBee in Oklahoma, and Raleigh McBee in Arkansas; 23 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
