Don't know if this has any bearing on your Canadian, Ben McBee but, In Janice Mercer's book in the McBee Ramblings section there is mention of Melvin McBee of Midnapore Alberta, Canada marrying at Eugene Ore. in Jan. 1944 Mary Anne Weld (widow of Dodd Miller) They lived in Sorrento, B.C. until 1951 then moved to Vancouver Island He died 1956. She died 3/18/1968. Jean
