Rootsweb's emerging new system of Clusters for each surname should help brand new researchers to find us, even if their surname NOW is spelled differently from the list name. There are also lists on Rootsweb for Bean and McVey, both of which also can be variants, but also function as separate surnames. The wonderful thing about GenConnect, is that someone searching for you WILL find you, no matter where you post! There are many McBee queries and records on various county boards......check 'em out! I wrote to many of those people (some of you listers), and suggested linking those posts back to our boards. Haven't gotten much response on that, yet. Even so, those posts show up on a GenConnect general search. The new cluster board makes it so SIMPLE to make all the different surname searches Rootsweb has to offer! Please visit our new Cluster site and check out our new tools and toys! <http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/m/c/MCBEE/> All the best to all my relations, Valorie
