AL but her family moved to Johnson Co. AR in abt. 1854. Her father was Jessee MAGBEE who married Lucinda POOLE February 22, 1838 in an unknown location. In the 1860 Census of Johnson Co. the family includes my ancestor who had just married Dicie, the sister of Sara. Alex McCandless came back from the war and moved with the family or joined the family in Texas in Somerset, TX on the border of Bexar Co. and Atascosa Co. In the Census of 1870 there are five MCBEE/MAGBEE families (including her father) living around Alex's widow Dicie. Children of JESSEE MAGBEE and LUCINDA POOLE are: i. CINDY JANE2 MAGBEE, b.
