If you haven't heard yet, in honor of Family History Month, the LDS has put the 1880 US Census transcription online, and the 1881 UK & Canadian Censuses, also. As a bonus, you can search all three at once! Search hints are here: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/census/search_census_hints.asp I asked for the exact spelling of McBee, because not doing so gave too many matches. Exact spelling off gave 1677 matches! Exact spelling ON gave 700 matches for the US Census! I have the CDs, and was planning on finding and sending all the McBEEs to the list, but perhaps now that this is online, y'all can do your own searching! I still intend to do webpages for all the McBees in all the census years, but I see that I'm going to have my work cut out for me.
