No, I don't see him in that GenWeb index, either. My list is the Ancestry index. I just read Rhea county for Obadiah, and saw neither him nor any other McBEEs. :( The Ancestry images of Rhea Co. are pages 352-395. I looked at *image* 71 first, naturally, but nothing resembling the McBEE surname or Obadiah first name to be found. How's this for crazy? I decided to see what my Ancestry AIS Census index CD said, and here is Obadiah's entry! Name: Mc Bee, Obadiah Year: 1830 County: MARION CO. State: TN Page: 71 The end of Roane Co., however, is page 68. :( And that county is too long to read tonight. I checked the Roane Co. index at USGW (http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/tn/roane/census/1830/roane30.txt ) and there were no McBEEs listed there, either. Maybe I'll put the AIS Index TN McBEEs in an email, and we can compare them, lol!
