So I searched my AIS CD (Ancestry), and *zero*! Anybody have the Precision Indexing CD for 1840? I know that AIS has a chunk of missing data -- perhaps that is it. :( (Ancestry started out with the AIS indexes, and built from there.) I tried putting in no surname, just Tennessee for the 1840, and Ancestry gives 44, 059 matches, so some of TN is obviously there. Heritage Quest doesn't have an index for 1840 yet, and TNGenWeb is still offline. So the other CDs are the only source I can think of -- anybody have any other bright ideas?
