Hi, There are to my knowledge 2 Obediah McBees. Mine that was born 1774 in Pittsylvania, married Catherine Fann in 1797 in Greene Co., TN then in 1818 moved on to Perry Co., TN (don't know his route exactly) then on to Hardeman Co., TN where he died in 1826. The other Obediah that belongs to Bill and Jean McBee (matmom@aol.com or BillMac8@aol.com)are; Obediah McBee b.1802-5 TN or NC d. after 1880 married to Sarah McCullough b. abt 1812 TN or GA. He went on to Marion Co TN. There is no G.S. McBee in my Group.
