You can go to the Huddleston list archives and see if the discussion has continued, or not. I get the posts via PML because they have the McBEE surname mentioned, so I wouldn't have gotten any posts without that part of the line mentioned. For this purpose, the Threaded Archive might be easier to use -- just pick the month where the debate was taking place, and follow up on it. http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ You could also search for Israel McBee in the keyword searches archives of the Huddleston list, and see what pops up: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl The various list archives have a WEALTH of information contained in them, which is one of the reasons I bother to post the PML snippets -- they can lead interested list members to the right list archives for further searching.
