After having read the two misunderstandings and thought about them I've decided that each of us is at different points in life. (That is probably the reason for these misunderstandings.) We are at these different points because of experience, choice, chance, etc. It is up to us as individuals to purposefully move forward by expanding our horizon and finally becoming more educated about ourselves (and accepting whatever we find), better human beings, and more tolerable/friendly of/with each other. One of these was my dad's brother Raymond whose mother was Afro-American. I acknowledge uncle Raymond because he is my uncle.
