Here is the information as given to me by Mr. Earl QUINTRELL, of Winchester TN, who is a descendant of Samuel (1772) and Anney (HAMILTON) MCBEE. The following is a list of the children of these two folks: 1. William, 21 July1798, md. 1) Ann WILLIAMS, md 2) Barbara VANBIBBER 2. Isaac, b. 1801, md. Elizabeth Sarah GRUBB 3. Caswell, b. 1802, md. Mary A. PECK 4. Pleasant, b. 1810, md. Nancy KELLY 5. Samuel, b. 1811, md. Mary HODGES 6. Labourne/Labon, b. 1813, md. Susannah HODGES 7. John, b. 1818, md. Louisa HURST 8. Calvin, b. 1821, md. Emaline MCBEE I don't research this line, so don't know if it's correct, but I have always trusted Mr. Quintrell's work in the past. Now as to John MCBEE (1792) who md. Susan YADON, he was the son of Israel MCBEE and Nancy HALE. John and Susan had children: 1. Ephraim Wesley, 12 Oct 1816, md. Manerva WAGGONER 2. William Campbell, b. 1819, md. Permelia GREER 3. Elizabeth, b. abt 1820, no further info. 4. Pryor Lee, 26 Jan 1822, md. Hulda BEELER 5. Silas, 10 Nov 1825, md. Rebecca BEELER 6. Granville, b. 1827, md. Caroline MOORE 7. John H., b. abt 1833, no further info, except wife could be named Susan. Again, Mr. Quintrell gave me this information. He has a lot of information on these northeast TN folks, and all of it can be found at the McClung Collection at Knoxville, TN. There are volumes and volumes of his work there.
