My McBees also went to Canada, from Harrison/Mercer Co. MO, by way of Warren Co. IA. Sydney McBee, my grandfather's oldest brother, went to Saskatchewan in the late 1890's, and my grandfather went up to help on the ranch soon after. He came back to either MO or IA, and in Indianola IA he married my grandmother Anna Virgil Baysinger. They sold their property in 1929 and moved to Alberta, Canada. I would love to hear that Sydney and Harvey were following kin to Canada.
