This is to Jean & Bill, Since these are the only 2 Obediah McBees that I've seen on the list or in a census so far, I am wondering if your Obediah McBee b.1802-10 in TN, that married Sarah McCullough and settled in Marion Co., TN could be the son of our Obediah b. abt 1774 in VA- d.1826 in Hardeman Co., TN-married Catherine Fann 1897 in Greene Co., TN?? Our Obediah had a son (age 10 & under) listed on the 1820 Perry Co., Census, who is not named also not accounted for by us after 1820. I feel your Obediah is a good candidate due to his birth date and location and name. I am posting this to the List in case there is any other connection or suggestions. All comments are welcome.
