John Robert was born in SC and married Georgianna "Anna" BUCHANAN in Mitchell Co., NC. I know that Anna died sometime after 1918 in Mitchell Co., NC. John Robert MCBEE's parents were Albert (b. Oct 1856) and Martha E. (Connelly) (b. 4 Jan 1856) MCBEE. Anna's parents were George L. and Sophia (Pitman) BUCHANAN. John and Anna had the following children: Annabelle MCBEE married Calvin White; Perry MCBEE moved to NY and I believe that he was born on 30 Aug 1918 and died in Jamaica, Queens, NY in Mar 1985; Samuel MCBEE who also moved to NY and I believe was born on 30 Apr 1907 in Mitchell Co., NC and died in Utica or Clinton, Oneida, NY in Oct 1978. (Some of this information came from Danny MCBEE and some from the SSDI). While searching for Samuel MCBEE in Oneida Co., NY I ran across James G. MCBEE son of Albert and Martha E. (Connelly) MCBEE. James was born 17 Jan 1892 and died on 15 Dec 1953 according to his tombstone. He was buried on 18 Dec 1953 in New Forest Cemetery, Utica, Oneida, NY. This information is from the Oneida Co., NYGenWeb. He was married at the time of his death. If anyone has any information on the people listed, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
