It's as if the past generations never bothered to ask about the family roots, or if they did know, it's a skeleton in our family closet. My grandfather's name was William Alvin Reed Mocahbee, born 3 Oct.1886 in KY(not sure if it was Estill or Fayette County)..his parents were James Mocahbee ( all we know about him is that he is supposedly buried in Bisbee Arizona) and Mary Ellen "Molly" Adams..who supposedly was born in Glasgow, Scotland and she is supposedly buried in the Old Lexington Cemetery, Lexington KY. The only information we've able to find is that my grandfather married my grandmother..Hattie Lee Baker who was the daughter of Washington Lafayette Baker and Mary Catherine Brown . Any guidance/advice will be greatly appreciated. Have you even seen or heard of my family spelling? Thanks, Denise Schutt schuttdl@comcast.net
