    1. [MAYO] Joyce
    2. EDWARD D COSTELLO
    3. JOE ....... I dont know much about my Joyce's. They, Catherine, Bridget & Martin Jr, arrived in mid-MA USA, Monson, Palmer & Chickopee area during 1859. Three kids together, age 11, 9 & 3 years . They may have been orphaned & may have lived with other Joyce's in the area. Their parents were Martin & Mary Joyce, presumably from Co Mayo. The citizenship records for one of the kids, Martin Jr states that he was from Co Mayo. Where in Mayo, I dont know at this time. I think that there were USA Joyce aunts involved, but they are undiscovered as yet. Bridget, 1850-1886, was my Gm, died young, had 7 kids. Catherine, 1847-1915, who acted as surrogate mother to Bridgets kids, married John Dower with no known kids. Martin Jr, 1853-1881, died young with no known family. All are interred together w/some of Bridgets kids in the Bethany RCCem, Monson MA. Is there a "connection" with your Joyce's? Probably, but its a buried "connection" back in Co Mayo someplace. One of Bridgets kids, though, was named Ellen. Keep-a-hunting, good luck.
