If you are researching Irish ancestors thought to be living in UK in 1901, then the following information will be useful to you. Census will be online 2002. Index can be searched without charge, but there will be a charge for viewing the census entry. Full details on website address below. Please note that the 1891 pilot mentioned is only for the County of Norfolk. It is useful for locating strays in Norfolk, but the county is not known for large concentrations of Irish immigrants, unlike the north of England, West of England, London and industrial cities. However, anyone also researching English ancestors from Norfolk (including strays from other parts of East Anglia) may find the 1891 useful. The site is similar to Scots Origins sites.
