Dear Friends, I've recently learned of a possible relative whose name was Mary FORDY, born in Ireland. Her name was listed in a church record in England. There are practically no spellings of that name on the Griffiths Valuation of Ireland but there are many with the spelling of FORDE. Does anyone know if FORDE is a variation of FORDY or if there's a possibility the name was misspelled on the church record? Thank you. Mary L. Casey
