I wanted to share this with everyone. Today I received a copy of my grandfather Garret Ruane's death certificate. While it only lists Ireland as place of birth, it did list his father as Garret and Mother as Bridget. The Later Day Saints Site had this; Garret Ruane 06 Nov. 1874 Castlerea,Castlerea,Roscommon,Ireland. Father Garret Ruane Mother Bridget Morgan I have located where his brother Patrick is buried- Calvary Cem. Bronx NY and his wife was Catherine.
