MAYO-List Members I am a new subscriber and this is my first log-on. I am researching my wife's family from the counties of Mayo, Roscommon, Westmeath, Cavan & Louth. Specifically, from County Mayo, we have Mary Dugan, born March 17, 1853 in Ballaghaderreen and who emigrated to the USA through New York City circa 1871. She married Patrick King (of Cavan County) in New York in 1880. The only other information we have for Mary Dugan is that she had four (4) siblings, including James, Bridget, Kate and Anne. I would be pleased to share information and links. I also have a specific question for the Mayo subscribers. I am just beginning my research into Ballaghaderreen. I have scanned the List's digest and I have identified the LDS microfilms for the Parish of Ballaghaderreen. I will most certainly be investigating this latter source.
