Its too bad that Ireland is getting sucked into this Socialist mess as is the UK This is not just a currency conversion but a surrender of sovereign rights! When a central government dictates (as does Brussels) what you can produce, grow and how you measure under penalty of fine and or imprisonment for violations you have Socialism. This is particularly sad for Ireland when you consider she has become one of the best economic success stories in Europe while retaining her sovereignty.
