    3. Hi Sonja, Griffiths Valuation of County Mayo, done in the mid 1850s, lists three John Browns living in the county. The first is in the Ballina Union, Parish of Ballynahaglish, Townland of Corraveggaun. The second is in the Swineford Union, Parish of Killedan, Townland of Carrick. The third is in the Ballinrobe Union,Parish of Kilcommon, Townland of Ardkill. There are no Early families listed in Ballinrobe or in Swineford, but in Ballina there are several. There is a Bridget in the Parish of Kilbelfad,Townland of Cloonyarigaun. And also in the same Parish there is a Mary in the Townland of Rathbaun, and a John and a Thomas in the Townland of Rathduff. This Valuation only lists head of households, but maybe some of these names will help Good luck Jim Murphy [email protected] wrote: > Hello All - I am hoping someone might be able to help me find out more about > my Great Grandmother's family from Mayo.
