I'm still looking for our g/grandparent, JAMES TIMLIN Born about 1826 in Castleconnor.Was a shoemaker by trade. James married FRANCES MARY KELLY (nee CLARKE) in Skibbereen,Co. Cork, on 14 October 1857 Her father, JOSEPH CLARKE was a shokeeper in Skibbereen. Frances had been married to a William Kelly who lost his life about the time of their son,also William. was born. There were 5 children born to James and Frances when they lived at Townsend Street,Skibbereen. They departed Ireland around 1872 for Dunedin, New Zealand. My grandmother Margaret Mary Timlin was born in Dunedin. Any information would be greatfully received, Marie,New Zealand
