Hi Kay and MaryPat Hope you don't mind me butting into your conversation! I am also searching GAVINs from Mayo. Mine are mainly from the Islandeady parish. I have also have LUDDENs in my line......Anthony Burke and Margaret LUDDEN were the parents of my great grandmother Margaret BURKE who married Martin GAVIN in Islandeady in 1839. Have not been able to find a marriage for Anthony and Margaret but assume it would be sometime before 1820/ See anything that looks familar??
