Hi Marie, I would not be too quick to assign my great grandmother to Devon or to England. We think her parents were Irish and they were just waiting for passage to Canada. Apparently the people on Prince Edward Island, Canada were socially divided into the English and the Irish. They did not mix (although it seems that my great grandfather had a love child with an English lady). Mary Timlin was definitely an Irish lady. After they married, they left PEI and went to the next Province west, New Brunswick. This may have been because of the scandal. Mary raised the love child in New Brunswick. Well then David, she just could be Jame's sister,but until I find some family for him,how will I ever know?
