I have, in the last few days found another branch of my family in Mayo,the Muldoons. I am interested in John Muldoon b about 1850 in Mayo, he was married to Mary Muldoon nee Connor. One of their sons James b1871 was born in Mayo. To date I have no further information, no Parish, or Townland. Any information would be gratefully accepted. Hi Pat, I see you are researching Philbin from Mayo. So am I. Specifically, the Dennis Philbin/Filbin who married Margaret Walsh about 1859 in Ballintubber. Margaret was the sister of my great grandmother, Mary Walsh who married Patrick Corley about 1858. Dennis and Margaret immigrated to Cleveland Ohio with their family at which point the name switched to Filbin. Dennis died before 1890.
