We are searching for the Patrick Ivers/ Mary Lawlor family who emigrated to Canada about 1825-7. It was a large family who settled in Tingwick, Quebec and thename was in that area till 1900. We think they were from either Mayo or Clare but have not been able to find their origin exactly. According to Griffiths the most probable place would be Swineford Mayo but records don't seem to go back far enough. We would appreciate anyone's suggestions. Kathryn L.
