In a message dated 1/15/02 4:05:11 AM Pacific Standard Time, [email protected] writes: no idea where my thomas coyne came from in ireland. only know that he was born in 1840 so far. he married ellen kelly and together they had all daughters, one of which married my great grandfather john tansey. all were living by then in marlboro, monmouth co. nj and it was mostly an irish area. usually the irish went to nyc and then would hear about the area of 'big wood' or pleasant valley and they would move. i have michael kelly and ellen kelly being here in 1860 census but no other family that i am aware of. they were from ireland- got michaels immigration papers too- just says queen of england as to whom he gives up duties too. still working on someday finding that info. thanks- linda now in fla.
