    2. Possible info for you... I show a baptism for a Margaret Walsh in Kiltimagh, daughter of John Walsh and Honor Egan on May 25, 1873....Witnesses Bernard and Kate Egan More than Likely I should be looking for a mothers maiden name of brady? Will keep that in mind In a message dated 3/31/2007 9:25:07 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, wm.karr@insightbb.com writes: Listers, I sent off to GRO for the birth certificate of my great grandmother, Margaret BRADY WALSH (WELCH). She was born in County Mayo on 31 May 1873, according to family history and her death certificate from Chicago, Cook County, IL. They checked their records and came up blank. My only thought now is to search the church records, but three things stop me. The first is that I have no idea who her parents were. Second, I have no idea where in County Mayo she was born. Third, I do not know in what church she was baptized. I assume that she was R.C., but I am not sure. The descendant family is R.C., so I think it is safe to assume she was also. Are there LDS microfilms I can search? Would it be an exercise in futility if GRO cannot locate the birth certificate? What would be my next move? 3. Hi: I just read your helpful reply below and wondered if you might have any birth or baptism information on my Great-grandfather, Patrick J. Fitzmaurice, born in Ballyhaunis (Ballyhounes), County Mayo in1843? His parents names were Thomas Fiztmaurice and Catherine Lorey. I know this much from locating his tombstone from his death in NY in 1896. So far, I've had no luck in locating his birth information or the cemetery where his parents are buried. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
