Hello everyone, Looking for any possible leads to information about my g-g-g grandfather Patrick Gavin. He was born in County Mayo, most likely between 1815-1830 and most likely lived in Ballycroy. Believe his son Patrick was born in County Mayo on March 16, 1850. Also believe his daughter Bridget was born October 8, 1852 and another daughter Mary (my g-g grandmother) was born on February 15, 1854 in County Mayo. Patrick Gavin's, the elder's, wife may have been Mary Navin or a woman named Bridget who was born around 1821. Another name associated with Patrick Gavin is Ellen Calvey who lived in Ballycroy as noted in a letter dated 1896. She was an aunt to Patrick Gavin's (the younger's) daughter (also named Mary). Ellen Calvey was married to Ned Calvey, who had passed away before 1896.
