SCHERMERHORN Richard Everett SCHERMERHORN, a native of Sands Lake, N.Y., and a retired paper manufacturer, of Medina, N.Y., died at his home, 112 St. James place, yesterday after a lingering illness from complications. Mr. SCHERMERHORN was in his sixty-third year and was a graduate of the Sands Lake Institute. He came to Brooklyn some years ago and was a member of the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church. A widow is his only survivor. Funeral services will be held at his late home on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, the Rev. Dr. Cleland B. McAFEE, of the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be made in the family plot at Rural Cemetery, Chatham, N.Y. Undertaker F.M. FAIRCHILD, of Fulton street, had charge of the funeral arrangements.
