Hello, Mayo people... I am looking for the parents and siblings of 1) Austin Gavin, b. 5-15-1815 in Westport, and 2) Bridget Moore, b. August 6, 1818, Austin's future wife. He died in 1891, she in 1892, and both are buried in Columbus Twp., Michigan. Austin was naturalized a US citizen in 1848, the same year Joseph, their first child was born. There is a family story that Austin came to the US thru Canada, and I read SOMEwhere that "...his records are at St. Ann's (Quebec)," although his arrival may have preceded the institution of record keeping.
