    3. Born Nov 4 1942 Co. Armagh He was voted along with Joan Baez as one of the two most promising acts Newport Folk Festival 1961. He linked up with Liam Clancy from Co Tipperary. Appeared Ed Sullivan show 1961 and shot to national prominence to the Careige Hall . He ran a club called Tommy Makem's Irish pavilion on the corner of Lexington Avenue New York. Dylan adapted his version of Dominic Beahans The Patriot Game to become With God on our Side. Dylan acknowledge his debt to Clancy's musical influence at Dylan's 30th Anniversary gala in 1992 at Madison Square Garden.
