Thomas HENAHAN- born December 25, 1845 Immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, USA, 1871. "Mr. (Thomas) Henahan was born in County Mayo, Ireland, December 25, 1845, and is a son of Thomas and Delia (Welsh) Henahan, who were also natives of the "Emerald Isle." There they lived and died. Thomas was reared on his father's farm, and had an education in the common schools. When he was sixteen he took a position as a clerk in a dry-goods store. After working in the store for two years, he joined the Royal Irish constabulary, and served six years as a private, and received high recommendations for honesty and ability at his discharge. He reached these shores in 1871, and three days after his arrival secured a position in New York with A. T. Stewart, the well-known merchant prince." Anthony HENAHAN, born December, 1851, County Mayo, Ireland. Immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, USA, in 1871, possibly with brother Thomas. Margaret HENAHAN--nothing known about her. Thanks again--Jean A.
