On the back of the picture,(which is of a cottage) it has... polinalty,Cloonfad, County mayo,Ireland Sept 29,1872 Ruane family home When I entered cloonfad in the search it bought it up under Roscommon. Does anybody have any ideas or information on that? Gail...There are townlands named Pollanalty (East & West) in the parish of Kiltullagh, Co. Roscommon. The R.C. graveyard is in the town of Cloonfad and though I do not have a detail map of the parish, the largest town in the area seems to be Cloonfad.
