Hello everyone I thought I would repost a few names in case there is anyone new on the list who can help ( and the old ones if they can) My ggrandmum was Sarah Anne McGING of Westport, County Mayo. she married John McGING of Kinnuary ( I think he might have come from Galway originally) They had 11 kids most of whom died early. The ones that I would like to try and find are 3 girls who I think may have gone to the USA Catherine McGING was baptised 27/07/1882 in Kinnuary, Killawalla. (sponsors were Peter McHALE & Ann McHALE nee McGING) Bridget McGING was baptised 17/09/1884 in Kinnuary, Killawalla. Sarah McGing born c. 1893 she was on the 1901 census and I think she may have sailed on the Celtic from Queenstown on 23/05/1913. I havent found anything on them yet except my Uncle Peter remembers two aunts staying overnight and then getting a boat. This was just before my grandad died in 1932 in Bootle. Sorry I only intended to write a few lines and ended up with a novel! If I can help with lookups on the 1891 census for London or the London PO Directory 1902 drop me a line. Thanks for your time Nickie. Researching McGing/McGinn everywhere Caulfield & Byrne (Wicklow) Toomey, Smith & McPherson in UK Johnson, Scollay & Mitchell in Scotland
