    3. According to a friend who owns a summer house in Moigh, Cloonfad, Cloonfad is the main village or town. It is very small. It is situated on a crossroad with 3 pups (bars), a school, church and shop. It it approximately 5 miles from Ballyhaunis, County Mayo and is also near the boarder of County Galway. My ancestors, the James & Bridget Burke Family, are from Gortamarle, Parke, a small townland of Cloonfad. Cloonfad and the surrounding townlands or villages use Ballyhaunis as thier Post Office address. Hopes this additional information is helpful. Jerry Ballauer, Columbia, SC Researching Burke - Co.
