    2. Rosemarie, Where did your grandfather live in the USA? My great grandmother was Mary Kearny of Crimlin townland, Turlough Civil Parish in Mayo. When I was young (early 50's), my father used to visit a man named Patrick Kearny in Brooklyn, NY. My father used to refer to him as "Old man Kearny". I wasn't sure how he was related to us. My older cousins were unable to help to explain the connection. Nora Hopkins FitzGerald HOPKINS/BLAINE/JENNINGS/CUNNINGHAM/MCMYLER from Crimlin, Derrylahan and Commauns townlands in Mayo In a message dated 5/23/2007 3:03:26 A.M. Jim, I host the following website as volunteer work. As yet, I haven't added Kilmore Civil Parish but will do on my next update. Since it is a huge civil parish with over 80 townlands (when I add a civil parish, I add a page for each townland), it will take me some time to complete and I won't get to it until I fully update my own website. Check out the site and I'll let the list know when it is completed. http://www.rootsweb.com/~irlmayo/ In the meantime, use google and see what's online for Kilmore. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

    3. I have started transcribing the Kilmore Civil Parish's GV. It is a huge parish with over 40 pages of GV. So far, I have transcribed 10 pages, over 500 names. They are online on the County Mayo section of my website. I also updated the County Mayo surname registries on that section. If you made a submission in the last month or so, please check it for accuracy. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com
