These searches allow you to locate any townland, parish or village in each of Ireland's thirty two counties. http://www.seanruad.com/ Mapquest.com can get to the parish but not the townland. http://wwwrd.0mm.com/map019002 You are welcome for my time. You can only search for 10 years at a time. So, please ensure you place the years 1880-1890, for one search (for example). And then do another search from 1890-1900 etc etc.

    1. [MAYO] Surname FORDY
    2. Dear Friends, I've recently learned of a possible relative whose name was Mary FORDY, born in Ireland. Her name was listed in a church record in England. There are practically no spellings of that name on the Griffiths Valuation of Ireland but there are many with the spelling of FORDE. Does anyone know if FORDE is a variation of FORDY or if there's a possibility the name was misspelled on the church record? Thank you. Mary L. Casey
