If Nancy, the d/o Gibson Maynard SR is my Nancy born in 1806, that would make Gibson Sr, 56 when she was born. Do you suppose he married a second time after Sarah Unknown was out of the picture. ? It looks like I'm going to have to investigate resources in NC a lot more aggresively. Although I remember my Father once saying that he thought the Maynard were from NC. Have I shared my Nancy Maynard information with you yet ? Id'd be happy to pass it along and have you examine it to see if you have anyother connections or insights.
