    3. Hello, Which Maynard lines are you researching? Mine are from Pikeville and Indiana: John Henry Maynard, James Mitchell Maynard, Edward Luther Maynard (who moved his family to Florida), and my father, Edward Luther Maynard, Jr. We believe that John Henry may be a son of James Maynard who was a son of Moses Maynard. Our John Henry married a Nancy James. Their son, James Mitchell, married Emma P. Honaker! I notice you have a Honaker in your list. Her grandfather, James Honaker, was an early sheriff of Pikeville, Kentucky. Do you see any possible connections with your family? Our James Mitchell, also appears to have married a Maynard, possibly from another line, Alifair Maynard, after he divorced Emma Honaker. Emma was very interesting and also may have carried these surnames: Akers and Hess. Do you know anything about her?
