    3. Good Evening Mignon; I think you have one remaining question. Yarmouth was a major ship building site in those days and up to the days of steam. I think you need to correspond with the Yarmouth Library. Your Captain Paddock was more likely a Captain on a trading vessel or fishing boat. Yarmouth was the building site of a lot of the great Clipper Ships. Sorry I can not be of more help, I think it is a better place to look first, I could be wrong, but many of the whaling Captains built their homes right here in New Bedford. Light in brain just went on, why not give the Whaling Museum a call, ask if they have a Captain Judah Paddock .
