You know, maybe this thread isn't as "off topic" as it might seem! Didn't our ancestors (the ones who are the reason this list even exists...) also have a somewhat "argumentative," not-willing-to-accept-the-standard-fare, streak to them?? And that's why (the extremely simplified version of "why"...) they just happened to get on a rickety little boat and head to who knows where some 400 years ago??! Maybe there are things less tangible than hair and eye color that are hereditary!!
