It isn't clear what the question is, but if it's whether there is a connection between Robert Carr who immigrated on the "Elizabeth & Ann" and the Robert Carr of Newport, then the answer is Yes--they were the same. Note that the "Elizabeth & Ann" came in 1635, not 1621-1623. Robert was a passenger on that ship (age 21 at the time), but where he first settled is unknown. He was in Portsmouth in 1638 and Newport in 1639 and owned land (according to his will) in Jamestown. A biographical sketch for Robert Carr can be found in "The Great Migration, Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635; Anderson, Sanborn & Sanborn; NEHGS, 2001.
