I do know that the family never left the New England area. A group of them finally settling first in Portland, ME, and more recently (in the last 100 years or so) in the Bath area of Maine. I am doing this on my own, since I was adopted. Five years ago I found out that my birthparents were/are Charles (desc.) and Marjorie Brown~Southard. 35+ years ago, after remarrige her name became St.Pierre. So, the information that I have is rather sketchy, but I'm sure that you can understand why this is so important to me.
